Designing alpine skiwear is about providing freedom of movement for the entire body. Lab and field studies of how the body acts during a downhill race as well as how the fabric of the garments moves across the skier’s body during a powerful carving turn have served as the basis for the development of our alpine collection.
More than anything else, our studies have revealed that the skier’s back, shoulders, neck and arms must be able to interact seamlessly with the hips and knees in order for him or her to perform optimally. Focusing on these crucial areas and the interplay between them, we are able to design alpine ski garments that make the skier faster.
